Lundberg strengthens domestic expertise – manufacturing and design of multipurpose machines increasingly moved to Finland

Lännen Tractors has significantly increased the domestic manufacturing share of its Lundberg multipurpose machines since production was moved to Loimaa in summer 2023. Instead of components and structures previously made by subcontractors, more and more parts are now produced in-house, and surface treatment is also handled entirely at the modernized paint shop updated in 2024. In addition, the machines are fully designed in Finland, strengthening local expertise and domestic production chains.

“We have invested in domestic production to improve both quality and delivery reliability,” says Lännen Tractors Oy CEO Veli Ollila. “Centralizing operations increases the production capacity of the Loimaa factory and is a response to growing international demand,” Veli adds.
