Developing something new is always difficult

Lundberg Lännen Tractors Oy, the owner of the Lundberg, took on a huge challenge a few years ago. The Lundberg factory was closed in Sweden and production was moved to Finland. Simply moving a factory from one country to another is a huge effort for any company, but Lännen went even further. At the same time, it was decided to redesign the entire model range - from scratch.

The risk was huge, but the company believed in its own people. At Loimaa, the Lundberg was brought to the table by the Lännen in-house design team. Every detail was rethought, the design was modernized and there were no compromises with the technical solutions. The new Lundberg was wanted to be better, more efficient, more functional, more economical and more competitive in terms of price than any competitor in the same business.

How did we do?

We have now participated in the first public tenders in Finland with our new machine range. It can be considered an acid test of price competitiveness.

We lost the first tender because we simply miscalculated - but we learned quickly and won the following deals with flying colours!

The first machines for public sector use will be delivered to the Finnish Parliament's property maintenance department and the City of Helsinki.

2026 will be a year of strong growth for Lännen Tractors and Lundberg urban maintenance machines.

We are happy to tell you more!
